Windows 7 Upgrade

I've recently upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7. Because the data path changed from "documents and settings" to "users" Ahnenblatt does not find the photos anymore.

If i do a data integrity check it gives me a list of the missing photos but no easy way of reinserting them besides doing them one at a time. There are over 2000 photos so this is not really an option at this stage.

Is there any quick fix or one not quite as long as reinserting 2000+ photos?

I was hoping of accessing a database file and just changing "Documents and settings" for "Users" in bulk.

Thanks in advance.

Are the photos in one directory?
If yes, try setting the path in Extras/Options and set the image path.

Good luck!

I tried that but it didn't seem to work. The photos are in sub directories of my pictures.

I'm the OP by the way.

Edit: I found the solution in another post.

It's not the same problem but the solution is the same.
