upgrading to version 4

Greetings,

I have been using the free version 2.99 vand would like to upgrade to Version 4. My question is whether or not the data inputted through ver 2.99 will be recognizes and imported during the installation process.

Each new Ahnenblatt version is installed in its own directory. All old data is retained. You can then load the existing old data into the new program version.

So you can have the 2.x, the 3.x and the 4.x program versions in parallel. You can also install the same Ahnenblatt version several times in different directories.
Only when updating and not when upgrading, the updated version is installed in the same directory.
